VOC leaking can result in the ground-level of ozone concentration increasing, and it is harmful to our health. Moreover, if such leakage explored, it will contaminate and pollute the environment and the ecology which should never be neglected. VOC leaking detection is the main business of KITC. In accordance with the detection procedure of Environmental Protection Administration, we periodically inspect plants’ equipment components to see if any leaking occurs. Moreover, to maintain and reduce VOC leakage and lessen the loss for plants' raw materials and finished products as well as reducing air pollution and avoiding related penalties.
Oil tank at Gas Station and pump station Island area are set up with the soil gas monitoring well facilities to monitor the change of gas and oil gas concentration in soil for the determination of whether or not the oil tank or pipeline is leaking. This is also one of the leakages of the VOCs. Such leakage can cause the loss of oil and lead to the water pollution due to the soil flowing into the underground. Therefore, such invisible segment should not be overlooked. Detecting method of monitoring wells oil gas concentration is followed by the EPA criteria to prevent damages.
According to the regulations of the Air Pollution Control and Emission requirement of the volatile Organic Compounds substance; once the leaking source of equipment components was found, it’s required to report to the official bureau and repair it within a certain time.
