- Precise UV wavelength and higher power to convert all H2 into HCl (over 99.9 %). Special double layer of sample gas path made in Duran glass and air purge design to prevent any leak of sample to cause catastrophe incident in analyzer system. No sample contact with UV lamp design.

There are different ways to generate Chlorine and Sodium Hydroxide. Process systems, no matter membrane cell, diaphragm cell or mercury cell, are using saturated solution of sodium chloride to generate basic industrial material like Chlorine and Sodium Hydroxide. The reaction is as following : 2NaCl+2H2O→Cl2+2NaOH+H2 The main product is chlorine in anode and hydrogen and sodium hydroxide in cathode. When analyzer system aims to measure low level of Hydrogen in Chlorine (H2 in Cl2) to control and monitor process, H2 analyzer with Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD) is often having interference with other composition, especially Chlorine. MUV-9000, with high power and precise UV wavelength, is to help analyzer system to convert all Hydrogen (H2) becomes Hydrogen Chloride (HCl). When designing two channels of TCD detectors (or two TCD analyzers), Channel A is to measure sample with Hydrogen and the other is to measure sample without Hydrogen. Compared Channel A to B, the analyzer system can give the result of Hydrogen concentration.
