MFBS-9000 is an innovative "Modular Fall Back Sampler", and it is designed to condition hot, dirty and/or wet gas samples at the process tap then delivers a reproducible sample to a variety of analyzers, including gas chromatographs and continuous gas analyzer (CGA, MGA-9000 for example), for composition measurement. MFBS-9000 takes advantage of simple chemical engineering principles (Stoke's Law) of gravity fall back of condensed moisture and liquid hydrocarbon chilled by provided cooling medium, it enables analysis of lighter hydrocarbons by removing liquid mist or water, heavy particulates and fine carbons from complex, hot hydrocarbon gas mixtures. For applications with dry conditions and high dust, the MFBS-9000 can be optionally equipped with an automatic back-purge control box and an integrated probe filter, making it suitable for tougher sampling environments.
